“Romanians around the world” in a Euro-standard manner by Mihai Nicolae, PhD

(abstract)

The Romanians living within the boundaries of our country are mostly natives. They belong to the linguistic and cultural Romanian spirit, being the natural representatives of common traditions. There are other Romanian communities spread practically all over the world and these are communities of emigrants and economic migrants. About them we do not know much. We believe there is a need to write the text book “Romanians around the world” in a Euro-standard manner. This text book should tackle with the history of these Romanian communities inside their present habitat, their linguistic, cultural and spiritual unity, introducing important personalities which were born in these communities and who contributed to the welfare of the Romanian people.
